Reflecting His Beauty

LET’S PRAY

"Every day Jesus went to the Temple to teach, and each evening He returned to spend the night on the Mount of Olives.  Luke 21:37.

The times we are living in are indeed challenging, but, we already have the victory in Yahusha ' name. It’s powerful to know that Yahuah God is raising up an army, a bride, that will declare His glory and righteousness in ways we’ve never seen before. The attacks on the missionaries and ministers of God only show how fierce the enemy is trying to stop the movement, but it is also a testament to the significance of what God is doing through them.

Intercession is so vital in this hour. The power of prayer cannot be overstated, especially when lifting up those on the frontlines of the kingdom work. I truly believe God honors those who intercede for others, especially for His servants.

What specific prayer points would you like to start with? If you’d like, we can share some prayer points right now or organize them for the church to engage with. It’s crucial for the body of Christ to stand united in prayer.

It is recorded in 2013, that over thirty Christians Pastors ( male or female)  have committed suicide . 2016 records that 1500 pastors walk away from their ministries every month due to moral failures, spiritual burnout, contention in churches etc.  Under the mentorship of Audrey L. Dowling through her book Prayer Points for Pastors, i have come to see various ways we can intercede for Pastors/ Missionaries and Leaders in Ministry. i can identify with this prayer needs.

Audery  said and i quote " When Pastors make mistakes, are challenged, burdened, worried, or in trouble, where do they go? Where can they go? The simple answer is to their mentors. The problem is that many do not have mentors, and the ones that do may find it hard to be opened and transparent about what is going on with them. Is there a safe place for pastors to fall in the Christian world or in this entire world? Most of us know the answer to that is very complicated, but we can conclude that some may not find that safe falling place. If there aren't many safe places for them to fall, how do they make it? What can be done to help them? At least Prayer AND Intercession  can be done to help them.

Jesus at the garden of Gethsemane, said to his disciples " STAY HERE AND WATCH WITH ME" Matt 26:38. Jesus asked for the prayers of His disciples. Audery, in her book "Prayer Points for Pastors", did not only stress the fact that Pastors need prayer but she also encourages that we build a culture of prayer and intercession for our Christian Leaders. She said, that means that we all take the responsibility of emphasizing that Pastors, Missionaries and Leaders in Christian ministry need regular, focused and specific prayer.

We, by the help of the Holy Spirit will be taken us on a journey this year, of interceding for Pastors, Missionaries/ Leaders in Ministry. Let us all light our candles of intercession. For those whose candles were once lit but turned off, please do light it once again.

Thank you and God bless you all!

INTERCESSORY PRAYER FOR MISSIONARIES AND MINISTERS

THAT I SHALL KNOW YOU

WEEK 3, JULY 2026.

2 Corinthians 5:16 "Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we no longer know Him thus". (NKJV)

"Who do people say I am?" and "Who do you say I am?"
These were questions the Lord once asked His budding disciples. It was obvious at that time that many merely saw Him as a great Prophet in their midst. Even among His disciples, it was only Peter who boldly asserted that He was the "sent" Christ. His approving response suggests that Peter spoke out of personal conviction. He said flesh and blood did not tell Peyer this but "My Father who is in heaven" - Matt 16:17.

Such basic inward conviction still enables daring and diverse faith exploits in believers, as they go on following the Lord. A display of this was when Peter asked the Lord to bid Him "walk on water". This was as they (the disciples) saw Him walking on the water and feared that "it" was a ghost approaching them in their troubled boat. The general challenge that befell the early disciples was a "shaken" faith at the physical arrest and crucifixion of their Master. Thankfully, the promised Comforter came to assure them of Christ's continued spiritual presence with the believers, through the abiding person and works of The Spirit.

As His missionaries and ministers today, we too must take this privilege to heart. We can make the best of our daily opportunities to serve His cause faithfully and selflessly. For sure, we can all know our Lord and God better, by cultivating an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit. May we all have a blessed week.

## Father, we thank You for giving us Your only begotten Son as the sacrificial Lamb for mankind's redemption.

## Father, help us to stay focused on our new spiritual identity as children of God in Christ, according to your promise for all in John 3:16.

## Father, help us to keep up with Your expectations as growing disciples, that we may seek our full spiritual maturity through an increasing knowledge of You and Your will in all we do.

## Father, help us to stay humble before all men, even as we work in great power and manifold graces of the Holy Spirit.

## Father, help us to always project Christ as the only One by whom all men may find peace with God.

## Father, save us from the sneaky temptations of leading people to "ourselves" rather than to God, that we do not entrap them in an unfruitful human agenda.

Let's specifically pray throughout this week for the persons represented below, as we generally concern ourselves with the salvation needs of those around our centers and mission fields.

## Kabeerat M.

## Bukola A.

## Mojirola O.

## Kaburu Isah

## Father, help the various Christian local assemblies in the world today prove to be true expressions of Christ's Body in their respective communities.

## Father, let there be an increasing witness from within and outside the Church, to the love, unity, joy, forgiving spirit, and humanitarian care of the brethren.

## Father, let our local assemblies become the breeding ground for diverse exemplary leadership figures in our communities and nation today.

## Father, let our local assemblies become the recovery center for many of the misguided youths within the communities
